Larch
wood manor house, built at the turn of 18th and 19th
centuries, in Grynwałd, was transferred to "Polana
Sosny" in Niedzica nearby Sromowce reservoir. The
transfer of historical house was managed by the Regional
Inspector for Cultural Heritage Adam Szybowicz. The
reconstruction of manor house reflects perfectly the
original wall structures, ceilings, roof and external
decorations. The manor currently houses a restaurant.
Interior decoration has preserved original historical
elements as well as the atmosphere of historical Polish
gentry seat. The restaurant serves traditional Polish
cuisine, with some elements of Hungarian menu, according
to regional customs. Dishes are prepared in traditional
stone ovens heated with beech wood.
